Pilates for a Purpose


“Pilates for a Purpose” is part of our Community Outreach Program.

13This is a 50 Minute Pilates Mat Class suitable for all levels.

There is no fee for the class. Donations will be accepted for a different non-profit organization each week. 100% of the donations are given to the non-profit. If a non-profit is not scheduled, donations will go towards Reforms Scholarship Program.

Organizations that we have raised money for through Pilates for a Purpose since we began this class in 2014 are: Saratoga Center for the Family, DVRC, Special Olympics New York, Camp Little Notch,  The Saratoga Film Forum, American Heart Association, Gateway House of Peace, Homemade Theater, Wilton Wildlife Preserve & Park, CAPTAIN youth & family services, Saratoga P.L.A.N, Wesley Community, Team Albany – Adaptive sports team, Saratoga county citizens committee for mental health, Saratoga community health center, The Beagle school, The Waldorf school, Dance alliance, Jakes help from heaven, After the fire, Circus smirks, Saratoga america little league, Shelters of saratoga, Mediation matters, Ronald McDonald house of charities of the capital region, Ovarian cancer research fund, Franklin community center, To Life! No credit cards accepted for this class.

If this is your first time visiting the studio, please plan to arrive 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork and settle in. Please wear comfortable clothing and socks. If you own a Yoga Mat, please bring it. Please discuss any injuries or physical limitations with the instructor before the class begins.
