Private Sessions

All of the Memberships at Reform include private lessons. A typical Private session is roughly 80% reformer and mat work, and 20% systems. The “systems” are exercises on the other apparatus. They are tailored for your body’s needs on that day. This type of workout is well rounded, and is ideal when a client comes in regularly once or twice a week or is just starting. When a person is able to come in more frequently or has reached a certain level there is so much we can do to vary your workouts. Pilates is a system of over 600 exercises! You should never get bored. Here are some of the benefits of Pilates.

“Mini” Mat Classes

“Mini” Mat Classes are 30 minutes long. The class includes the Intermediate Mat with a little Magic Circle work or some Arm Weights and we call it a day. In an ideal Pilates “practice,” a person would come in to the studio a few times/week for their private sessions and do their mat work at home on their “days off.” However, we know that even with the best intentions it can be hard to motivate yourself to get down on the mat alone at home. “Mini” Mat Classes were created to help keep you on track and consistent with your workouts. “Mini” Mat Classes are available to our members only. Before joining a “Mini” Mat Class, you should be at an intermediate level and have your instructor’s approval.
